Every frame is individually corrected, rotated and retouched. We scan on Fujifilm Frontier or Noritsu – matched to your film, or your choice.

Standard: 3000 × 2000 px on both scanners.

Pro 35mm: Noritsu 6774 × 4492 px · Frontier 5444 × 3649 px (incl. film border).

Pro 120 (6×4.5 / 6×6 / 6×7): Frontier 4842 × 3649 · 3637 × 3637 · 4547 × 3649 px · Noritsu 4824 × 3533 · 4760 × 4832 · 5902 × 4815 px.

🔍 Frontier or Noritsu?

In easy mode we pick the right scanner, in advanced mode you choose.

Noritsu LS-1100 / HS-1800: very neutral colours, 48 bit, up to 6774 × 4492 px – our pick for B&W and slide.

Fujifilm Frontier SP-3000 / SP-500: handprint-like colours, more contrast, scans with film borders, up to 5400 × 3600 px – our pick for ECN-2.

🖼️ Prints & contact sheet

Print sets in 10 × 15 or 15 × 22.5 on 15 cm wide paper – we match the format to your film. Contact sheets are made analog in our darkroom on silver gelatin RC paper.

🗂️ What happens to my negatives?

You choose when ordering:

  • Pick up at the lab – we store them for up to 3 months.
  • Collect & send back later – we collect the negatives from all your orders for 3 months and send everything in one parcel, so you only pay shipping once.
  • Send back directly – right after processing.
  • Dispose – only if you ordered scans.

After 3 months you get an email: pay for return shipping or let us dispose of your negatives.

⚡ Rush developing

Only directly in our shop (not online), for C41 and B&W: bring your rolls before 14:00 and your scans are ready the same evening. +€5 per order. Commercial jobs with strict deadlines: office@garagefilmlab.at.

📷 Disposable cameras?

Yes, same price as a 35mm C41 film – just choose C41 · 35mm in the order wizard.

🍲 Film soup?

Yes, for a €5 surcharge. Special processing runs twice a month, so it takes a little longer.

⚙️ Which machines do you use?

Developing: C41 on Fujifilm FP232 / Noritsu V30, B&W in a converted leader-card processor with XTOL, E6 and ECN-2 in a Jobo rotary processor.

Scanning: Fujifilm Frontier SP-3000, Noritsu LS-1100 / HS-1800, Epson 12000XL for prints and Polaroids.
